How we handle your information

2E Compass is a small, volunteer-led project sharing plain-language information about twice-exceptional and neurodivergent experiences. Most of the site is public reading material; no account is needed to browse.

We only collect what you choose to send us:

• Contact form: your name, email, and message, so we can read and reply.
• Accounts (admins/contributors only): email address and authentication details, used to sign in.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

The site runs on Lovable Cloud, our hosting and backend provider. Messages and account data are stored in a managed database with access restricted by row-level security policies, so each record is only readable by the roles allowed to see it.

Authentication uses email and password or Google sign-in. Passwords are never stored in plain text by us; they are handled by the auth provider.

We use the minimum cookies needed for the site to work, such as keeping a signed-in admin signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Contact messages are kept so we can follow up and refer back to your question. If you'd like your message or account removed, email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.

If you think you've found a security or privacy issue with this site, please email [email protected] with enough detail for us to reproduce it. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.

With regards to children, we do not ask for information about minors through this site. Please don't include identifying details about a child in the contact form unless it's essential to your question.

We update this page as the site changes. The version you're reading reflects how 2E Compass operates today.
