Connect an AI assistant to 2E Compass

You can plug 2E Compass into ChatGPT or Claude as a custom connector. Once connected, the assistant can help you explore the guide, look things up, and (for admins) review contact messages, while acting as your 2E Compass account.

Open
  1. Open ChatGPT's Connectors settings and turn on Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there).
  2. In the chat composer's “+” menu, turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click “Add sources”, then “Connect more”.
  4. Name the connector “2E Compass” and paste the server URL above.
  5. Sign in with your 2E Compass account when prompted, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

Open
  1. Open Claude's Connectors page and choose “Add custom connector”.
  2. Name the connector “2E Compass” and paste the server URL above.
  3. Sign in with your 2E Compass account when prompted.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Refresh after we update the app

A connected assistant caches its tool list. After we ship an update, refresh the connector so it picks up the latest tools.

Open
  1. Open ChatGPT's app preferences and pick 2E Compass under “Enabled apps”.
  2. Next to “Information”, click “Refresh”.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest one from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use 2E Compass.

Claude

Open
  1. Open Claude's Connectors page and select 2E Compass.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest one from above.
  4. Ask Claude to use 2E Compass.
